Commitment to Continuity:
We strive to maintain scheduled practices, clinics, and games, and will do our best to reschedule in the case of inclement weather. However, rescheduling is not guaranteed and is subject to field and coach availability. Additionally, we acknowledge (and support) the involvement of children in other sports or activities. Kindly inform your coach of any potential scheduling conflicts at the earliest opportunity, and we will do our utmost to accommodate game times and other events.
Dependence on Volunteerism:
Our program's success is heavily reliant on the gracious support of coaches and volunteers. Thus, program availability will depend on the active participation of volunteers from our community. If you’re interested in volunteering, please let us know!
Loaner Equipment:
Thanks to the kindness of our community, we have a limited amount of equipment available for players to use throughout the season. This equipment is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis and is provided in its current condition, as-is.
Starting this spring, there will be a minimal rental charge for using our equipment. If you wish to borrow or donate used equipment, please get in touch.
Scholarships:
We do not want financial capability to be in any way an inhibitor to children being able to participate in the program. We recognize that the combined cost of registration and the purchase price of lacrosse equipment is significant. If these costs are a burden, we are prepared to provide assistance. Please reach out for a private consultation.
At Sleepy Hollow Youth Lacrosse, our mission is to cultivate a culture centered on sportsmanship and learning, championing the principles of play, competition, inclusivity, and leadership through the sport of lacrosse, the oldest team sport in North America.
